The Craig Game Preserve is a 900 acre farm with miles and miles of planted sunflowers and natural habitat dedicated to hunting pheasants, quail, and chukar. It is located just 90 miles south of Nashville, TN and 30 miles north of Huntsville, AL. Guides, dogs, and gear are available or you may bring your own. Overnight lodging is available as well as a 1,200 sq ft. even room. Our season is from mid-October to the first of April. Call today and make your reservation as space is limited. Craig Game Preserve proudly continues an eighth generation family farm dating all the way back to 1835. Larry and his wife, Janie, took over the farming operation in 1995. In 2000, the farm was awarded a certificate from the state commemorating "A Century of Family Farming" for the previous 165 years of Craig Game Preserve's heritage. Larry Craig has done a phenomenal job running this hunting outfit for 22 years now. Last fall, Mr. Larry kindly offered the management position to Adam Bagley. As an avid hunter and outdoorsman, this was an opportunity Adam could not pass up. Adam has always been a helping hand at Craig Game Preserve, so this was not new territory for him. In fact, it was a long time dream of his to manage an outfitting service and lodge so seeing how the stars aligned was truly a blessing. Leaving the family business wasn't an easy decision, but Adam knew this path was the best fit for him and his family. Mr. Craig has already established the best upland bird hunting in Middle TN and we hope to continue to do just that. We hope to grow new business as well continuing to serve all of our current loyal clients who have been coming to hunt with us over the years.
